Privacy Policy
Last updated 11 August 2026
This policy covers this website. The XO Care and XO Guardian applications handle wellness information under separate agreements with the person using them and, in senior care, with the facility. Nothing on this website collects health information.
Who we are
XO Technology Inc. builds a discreet smart ring and the software around it, for care teams and for families. We are a Canadian company, registered at 1345 Norma Eddy Ln, 3rd Floor, Halifax, NS B3J 0H6, Canada. For anything in this policy, write to support@xotechnology.ai.
What we collect when you visit
Every visit to this site is recorded. We do this ourselves, on our own infrastructure. There is no advertising network, no third-party analytics product, and nothing here is sold or shared for marketing. What is recorded:
- Your IP address. An IP address is personal information, and we treat it as such.
- Approximate location derived from it — country, region, city, postal area, an approximate latitude and longitude, and your time zone. This is resolved by our content delivery network at the network edge; we do not send your address to anyone else to look it up.
- Your device and browser — whether it is a phone, tablet or computer, the browser's user-agent string, its preferred language, and your screen and window size.
- What you looked at — the pages you opened, when, the site that referred you, and the address you arrived on.
Our content delivery network also keeps standard web server logs, which contain the same request information.
What we collect when you give it to us
- The XO Care beta form: your name, your email address, who would wear the ring, and why you are interested. This is stored in our own database in Canada, and a notification is emailed to us.
- Booking a walkthrough: the booking is handled by Cal.com, a third party. What you enter there is processed under Cal.com's own privacy policy, and we receive the booking details.
Why we collect it
To operate and secure the site, to understand which regions and which products people are interested in so we know where to focus, and to answer you when you ask us something. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no tracking pixels. If you open the booking window, Cal.com may set cookies of its own; those are theirs, and their policy governs them.
Who else sees it
Our hosting and content delivery provider (Amazon Web Services) processes and stores this data on our behalf; the beta signups are held in the Canada (Central) region. Cal.com processes bookings. Nobody else receives it, other than where the law requires it of us.
How long we keep it
Visit records and server logs are deleted automatically after about 400 days. Beta signups are kept until the beta programme ends or you ask us to remove you, whichever is sooner.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to support@xotechnology.ai and we will act on it. If you are in a place with additional rights over your personal information, such as the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, those rights apply and we will honour them. You can also block this collection with any content blocker, and the site will work normally.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we change this page and update the date at the top.
